The Bugs forum thread is not just for reporting bugs to the administration. It is intended to solve technical problems encountered in the game. Before creating a topic, you should check to see if there is a topic with the bug that you want to report. Total Research Points, Wrong calculation of total research points
My total "Points for the Research" as those are seen in Infrastructure screen are wrong.
I base my bug report in the formula:
( ( Total Metal Spent for All Research Levels ) / 4 + ( Total Mineral Spent for All Research Levels ) / 2 + ( Total Vespene Spent for All Research Levels ) ) / 1000 = Total Research Points
The value reported at the screen is 36 points higher than what it should be based on the above formula ( I have asked other users and I have found difference even of 1 000).
I suspect that if one start a research, and cancel it before the completion (after completion is not possible), then the resources are considered as spent for research.
If this is the case, this is a bug because does not reflect the exact current research status of the player.
Please correct!
