Interceptors and Assaulters are stored in a hangar. You cannot build more Interceptors and Assaulters than the Hangars and Aircraft carriers can hold. The initial capacity of a Hangar is 10 units. Its capacity increases 5 times with each level. In addition to increasing capacity, the Hangar increases the damage of Interceptors and Assaulters in battles for object by 1.28 times per level.

It also allows you to liaise with asteroid defence fleets (1 per level). In addition, the hangar can shelter units during an attack. The maximum number of points for which a fleet can be sheltered is 100*level^2.
