An eternal hard worker and collector of space debris: wreckage left after battles, as well as minerals and metal from a planet's surface. To collect resources from a planet, a Provider needs more energy. If you want it to spend less energy, reduce its activity percentage in Resources. Providers extract resources more easily from small planets, so planet size is inversely proportional to the amount of resources extracted and directly proportional to energy costs.

Each additional Provider has a harder time extracting resources, so growth decreases as the number of workers increases.

On a planet, it extracts resources using the formulas:
LOG_1.04(1+number of Providers) / (planet diameter/25000)
LOG_1.08(1+number of Providers) / (planet diameter/25000)
-(number of Providers ^ 0.6) * 10 * (max{2500, planet diameter} / 25000)
No one spares the hard workers, so from level 10 of Acid Evolution, a mutational analogue of lactic acid begins to spur the Providers' muscles, making them move faster and increasing their base speed and base Vespene consumption.

Send the unit to asteroids you have colonized, and it will extract resources using the formulas:
6 + (maximum temperature) / 75
2 - (minimum temperature) / 150
- 5 * number of Providers
with a maximum number of Providers equal to 50 * (base field count) to the power of 0.85 for asteroids with more than 15 fields, and a maximum of 500 for the rest.
