A module for additional processing of metal ores. Uses alien biomass to produce a mixture of solvents that allow more valuable metals to be extracted from the feedstock. When placed in a metal mine, increases its production by 10%.
Due to the limited recycling rate, for high volume mines the efficiency of the diffuser drops. To maintain maximum efficiency, an additional diffuser must be added for each mine level above level 30. Diffusers also lose efficiency dramatically if the ores are depleted.
Once per hour, an active diffuser has a 0.125% chance of breaking.
