Galaxy map text bug?
High position free planets in galaxy map, say that "Lower temperature helps synthesis of Vespene gas"
I have planets in pos 1 & 7 and have verified that I get more crystals in 7 than in 1, and more gas in 1 than 7.
It seems to me text should be updated (plz don't change game mechanics or everyone will get screwed).

it also depends on the planet type ie sand plant gets more metal and minerals gas planet gets more gas etc

The game mechanics are correct as they are. But as enahs already said, there are other factors playing into it too.

Good to know. So, aside from other factors, is the galaxy map right? Do colder planets produce more gas?
BTW my planet at pos 1 is rocky, and my planet at pos 7 has soil (earth like). Still it produces more crystal and less gas than my pos 1 planet. Metal is the same.

yes a soft planet will produce more, look under recources and you can scroll down to see how much extra that planet produces
