try toss q1/2 the missions are missing

well this is fair 

yes but you would get the debris if there was a battle

you will get a message in your normal message tab and the mission ark should have a 3 day counter

i do not know what is going wrong so i will tell all i remember 
1st problem is finding the ark
the fly to coordinates not planet defend or harvest 
then once on hold for 5 or 10 minutes (with no battle battle will reset timer) you click on your own fleet from the galaxy view and there should be the option for inspection
then a new screen to use cursor keys to follow the broodling

did you go to the ark in galaxy view and click on your fleet on a pc not mobile

yes raiding should be calculated on active not vacant

on the xerj you send a queen to help
is there a toss ship that helps in expeditions?
